Neuron Trainer ("we," "our") builds iOS study applications and operates neurontrainer.com. This policy describes what we collect and how we use it, for both our apps and this website.
The short version
- Our apps don't require an account. No name, email, or password.
- Your study progress is stored on your device.
- We don't sell personal data. Ever.
- Purchases are processed entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details.
What our apps collect
Stored on your device
Study progress, quiz history, readiness scores, and settings are stored locally on your device. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Analytics
We collect anonymized usage analytics (e.g., which features are used, session length, device type) to improve the apps. This data is not tied to your identity and is processed through our analytics provider under their data protection terms.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We use a purchase-management service to validate entitlements (e.g., confirming your unlock so it restores across devices). We receive anonymized transaction records, never your payment card details.
AI tutor
When you use the AI tutor, your question and the relevant study context are sent to our AI backend to generate a response. Tutor conversations are not used to build a profile of you and are not sold or shared for advertising.
What this website collects
This website is a static site. App information, ratings, and reviews shown here are fetched directly from Apple's public iTunes API by your browser. We may use privacy-respecting hosting analytics (such as aggregate page-view counts) provided by our hosting platform. The site does not use advertising trackers and does not set marketing cookies.
Children's privacy
Our apps are intended for users preparing for professional and academic exams and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data sharing
We share data only with the service providers necessary to operate the apps (analytics, purchase validation, AI processing, and Apple), each under their own data protection obligations. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.
Your choices
- Delete your data: deleting an app removes locally stored progress.
- Questions or requests: email qtechdev1@gmail.com and we'll help, including with any data-deletion request applicable to backend services.
Changes
We'll update this page when the policy changes and revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes to app data practices are also reflected in each app's App Store privacy label.
